New releases, updates and announcements galore, it’s another fantastic week in gaming! First, we chat about Call of Duty Black Ops 4, set to release on October 12. PlayerUnknown’s Battleground gets a new map, emotes, and more customization options in the latest PUBG updates. Even more improvements are planned to arrive later this year including player animations and sounds. The recent Nintendo Direct shed light on the near future of our favorite handheld hybrid, the Nintendo Switch. 2018 looks to be a smashing year for Nintendo fans. Tom Clancy’s The Division… 2? What? Who said The Division 2 was a thing? We’ll discuss this a bit, but stay tuned for Remy from Bombshell Jackets to make an appearance soon and we’ll dig into The Division at length.

Mulehorn Gaming Website
Hosts: Wade, Alex and Kurt
We’re kicking things off with some news from the silver screen. Silver Surfer, specifically, as well as the Avengers look to make comebacks in the future. We discuss the potential of a fantastic rumor as well. Recently, the CEO of CD Projekt Red described the scope of their newest project, Cyberpunk 2077, and it sounds huge. Xbox is rereleasing four Xbox 360 games enhanced for the Xbox One X. Their focus on backwards compatibility leaves us looking towards Sony to pick up the pace, especially with PS3 and Vita games retiring from their rotation in PS Plus’ free offerings.
We field your questions and comments to the best of our collective ability in Shots Fired. This week we discuss what virtual worlds we’d most like to experience, Battle Royale modes, Xbox Game Pass, Twitch, and quite a few more.

Thanks for joining us in another week of explosive gaming news and chat! Wade spent some time with Sea of Thieves on PC and we discuss where the game is headed. Anthem is due to make an appearance at EA Play, indicating that the mysterious new title is, to some degree, ready to play. Destiny 2, plagued by vanishing player counts and a hostile community, will now be forced to delay some of the upcoming quality-of-life changes planned to release by May. When it rains at Bungie, it pours.
Your Shots Fired submissions get us talking about E3, Black Panther, booze, microtransactions, Mixer, and we take more topics from our live audience.

This is a very special week for us as episode 20 marks our first live broadcast of Analog Assault on Mixer. That’s right, Live on Mixer! From now on, catch us live at mixer.com/mulehorngaming and chat it up with the gang and other viewers! We’ll be aiming for Thursdays at 8:30 Central Time, but pay attention to Twitter @MulehornGaming for updates! A recent article adds one more voice to a growing choir of disgruntled gamers and Star Wars fans… and the author is claiming that Disney might revoke EA’s license to create and publish Star Wars games. Is the tip legit or full of it? The Mules dish.
In honor of the live direction we’ve taken the show, we’re highlighting some great submissions to Shots Fired this week. Topics include: Difficulty levels in games, preserving older games, Ubisoft, DnD classes, and state of the games industry. We also take some live questions on the fly, so stick around for all the shenanigans!

It looks like even Rockstar can’t resist the craze for Battle Royale games. The developer of Red Dead Redemption 2 is purportedly working on a Red Dead Battle Royale mode as well as several other game types for the sequel to their blockbuster western. Is enough enough? Or, should we embrace the newfound lust for BR in all of our games? What do Star Wars and Game of Thrones have in common? David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the creators of Game of Thrones (the TV show, not the books), will be writing and producing a new series of Star Wars movies. The gang dishes.
Your Shots Fired submissions asked us about Destiny 2 and Crimson Days, Trials of the Nine, Ready Player One, and Monster Hunter World.

First on the menu, Xbox is rocking the subscription boat with some changes coming to Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass is $10/month and gives access to over 100 titles, soon to include first-party games the day they release. Happy new year, listeners! After many holiday trips, meals, and diseases, the cast of Analog Assault is (mostly) back together to report live from PAX South in San Antonio, Texas! Kurt couldn’t make it, but Wade and Alex play host to a number of MHG contributors and friends. We are SUPER lucky to have Rick Lagnese on this episode. He’s the US Community Manager for Warhorse Studios, the developers behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Rick tells us about the game and shares some great stories from his past. This cast was a blast to record, and we hope you enjoy hearing all about PAX South and some of the fantastic titles we were able to get our hands on.
