Whats going on everyone? Welcome to your News source for all the things to be looking for on that next binge Session we are hitting Geekologist Radio Episode #70 This week Nick hops over from Game On to join Foutz, Silver, Chris and Nash as they boldly go Into Our Queue.
In Our Queue: Silver starts us out with her review/impressions thus far of the TV shows The Good Doctor, The Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers (Burger’s is getting the movie treatment BTW). Damian takes to the seas with the latest installment in the Pirates of The Caribbean franchise Dead men Tell no tales. Nick pops us over to Netflix with the original series Big Mouth which sets us up for a fairly epic filled Hype Train.
Hype Train: Amazon Original series Future Man looks to entertain with a fair amount of slapstick comedy mixed with Sci Fi Action, Jackie Chan confirms Rush Hour 4, Netflix goes Halloween with its Netflix Original creepshow Dark, Sabrina the Teenage Witch looks to go all buffy on the CW, and finally on the show we have news that Gambit has found its director.
Time to hit the Grid bits and polygons with Geekologist Radio Game On: “Insert Tittle Here” Yep we are in October programs and with that we are heading straight into gamers delight season. That time of year when all your dreams come true… err launch. On this episode manning their identity disks ready for the games we have Nick, Foutz, and Damian.
Game On: Nick gives us his CoD Beta impressions while Damian joins in with his thoughts on the campaign reveal trailer. What would our Game On be without a lil Destiny 2 talk? We pick our current favorite weapon loadouts and tell why we feel they are the best. Fortnite sneaks in Battle Royal offering up a free to play exciting game mode to the growing Fortnite Franchise. Damian fills us in on how to Scuf your Elite while Nick gives us the low down on the new Netflix like service on PC “Jump” and finally we have Mine Craft better together update.
Hype Train: Star Wars Battlefront 2 is about to storm troop it’s way onto our consoles and my god if the trailers aren’t pulling us in. Having missed L.A. Noire the first time the new Definitive edition is looking to offer those curious or prior fans an great opportunity to come back and now we get to Talk about our last stop Monster Hunter World!
Paul, Brandon, and Nash in the mix as we step week 2 into the rise of the derailers. They even manage to derail their own Hype Trains, we think.
In Our Queue: Kicking things off Nash brings us Luc Besson’s “Enter the Warriors Gate” streaming now on Netflix. Firstly before this next segment I gotta say Damian called it, What you may ask? Well Paul talks “American Horror Story: Cult” Ep “10/9” and he is raving at how good it is, the salt shaker has been pushed aside my friends and this season of AMH has the flip of story to set its hooks deep and pull you in but that isn’t all we are watching this week “The Mayor” pilot arrived and it is pulling in good ratings not only from critics but from members of the team here at Geekologist Radio as well. I guess the 5th time’s the charm as Nash finally Makes it through the full movie of Assassins Creed while Brandon gets his binge on with “Narcos S3” from Netflix.
Hype Train: First Movie we got on the Hype Train is “Annihilation” a sci-fi epic that looks to bring as much drama and action to the screen as it does self reflect starring Natalie Portman, and fellow Star Wars Alumni Oscarr Isacc. Fox is looking to change up our tv show a bit with two female led series the first being a female led series version of the “Nice Guys” while the next will serve a sequel to the original “Kung Fu” being a Female led story that basically mirrors the original except taking place in the 1950’s. Next up a perfect entry into the month of October we have a plethora of news coming for Warner Bros. regarding Horror films after the mega hit “IT” passes the 500 million mark. Flight of the Navigator is being headed up by Lucifer showrunner while Liam Neeson is coming out of retirement? Lets not forget Damian’s favorite vigilante himself the Punisher gets a action packed full trailer and the guys give their expectations on the upcoming series.
What’s Going on all you Geeks and Geekettes? It’s time for another amazing episode this week we give you the Two Derailers extraordinaire Damian Nash and Mr. Paul Roman, that is right folks he is back for his 2nd show in a row and the two bring everyone’s favorite things Clowns.
In Our Queue: Apparently we all float down here this week as In Our Queue starts out with Norsemen streaming now on Netlfix, Ripper Street keeps up the drama in London after the rash of Jack the ripper killings start to die down… or do they?, Damian does his best to go spoiler free with his review of the IT film while Paul talks about American Horror Story: Cult… of Clowns? I swear a circus must have got blown down the drain or something… Pulling ourselves out of the sewers Paul talk phallic objects with Netflix Original: American Vandal. Wait so we went from the sewers to the gutter?
Hype Train: Our first stop with IT: Chapter 2 in case you didn’t have enough clowns on your plate Damian talks the plans for the next chapter and why we should be hyped for what is to come to lil town of Derry. Next stop we have not one but two separate series coming based off the Jumper novels (Who knew this could be thing we would actually be excited for? Listen to know why). 3rd stop on the Hype train takes us to the Isle of Dogs and yes you want to visit this trash island to experience the star studded cast coming to theatres soon. Ending the ride and the episode we close With Robert Kirkman’s take on a feature film adaptation of the graphic novel “Kill the Minotaur”.

X-Force gets its Director, The Current War: movie trailer, The Foreigner trailer, Star Wars Ep#9 Director Shuffle and the most recent The Disaster Artist Trailer takes us to our last stop on the Hype Train.
