Happy Holidays!
Normally, I don’t like to toot my own horn. Unless I’m sparrow racing, then I toot it constantly. We’ve come a long way in a couple of months and had to learn how to do a lot of things we normally wouldn’t. In fact, I personally, have learned a ton. So for the impending new year what I’m hoping to do is clean up a couple of things. If you’re an avid fan of the site you’ll notice some little tweaks I like to make here and there. Which is really fantastic as I continue to learn from a different knowledge base, one I’m not entirely used to. I just wanted to take a minute out to thank all of those who joined up with us on this little adventure. We recently finished bringing Mulehorn Gaming into the fold. So it’s just one more thing we’ve added in a long line of additions to the site. There’s a couple of more shows which we’ve been reached out about which aren’t video game related. You’ll be hearing more about these in the next month or so. Much excite. Such listen. Very content. Yay.
What can we actually announce? Well, my partner in podcasting crimes and I decided we’re going back to comedy. While Warlock School was a fun experiment for us, we realized we no longer know anything about current releases. We also realized we’re kind of getting tired of talking about Destiny pretty much exclusively. There’s shows out there that carry a torch better than we do, especially since our torch became an axe. This axe was one that we were grinding constantly. It is pretty funny how we became this critical source of information while others remained overly positive. The trend now is that these shows and even community members that had their own axes to grind about us are now being ridiculously critical. I could cite examples but that would be unprofessional. I’ll just save anything extra for this week’s show. So for us at Warlock School we’ve decided to move on to a new show and concept. If you’re sad, don’t be, it’s going to be just as much fun as some of our earlier shows. We’re going to be recording our last episode and releasing it this week before taking a short break to get the new show together. I think this is for the best as I find I enjoy playing Destiny more than giving an opinion most don’t agree with and I plan on sticking to that.
As for My Morning Coffee – With these happy holidays almost over and a lot of work put into Ninja Pancake, I can actually go back to it. Just me sipping my coffee with some post it notes I scribbled on and trying to throw a show together. I know I’ve made a couple of promises recently but I’m at the point where I’m satisfied with the work everyone’s been putting in and can focus on my own little show again. I took a bunch of notes recently of games I’ve been playing or even jotting down something I remembered as a kid into my notebook. Really that’s my secret sauce. A series of notes. I’m a very forgetful and often times confused individual so the notes help quite a bit. I can even do some upkeep for this little blog I like to write in sometimes. I’ve also made the decision I’m going to continue keeping my focus on PC Gaming with some of my friends and record some of our antics. It’s been a busy year so most of my thoughts are like they are on my show, just a little jumbled and I’m trying to find the right way to put them together.
Now onto the horizon. A lot of people like to say they have things in the works, we here at Ninja Pancake are no different. Give some of the other shows a listen to see what we have going on right now. When the new entries get released we’ll make sure to let you know so you can give those a shot as well. You never know what you’re going to like. If you’re not following our Twitter for the latest releases, I humbly ask you do just to keep informed. We’re over there @NinjaPancakeGo. As some of our shows will be on holiday so they can actually achieve a happy holiday, we hope to catch you in the new year. So from all of us here to you and yours wherever you may be Happy Holidays. Catch ya later.
Puppies and Candy Canes,
